Jim Wallace is an American video game developer. He started his video game music career in November 1992 when he worked for Absolute Entertainment as an audio engineer. He left in February 1995 and started working as a producer for Capcom in March 1995. He left there in June 1999. He then moved on to Sony Computer Entertainment America as an associate director of product development. In 2005, he left Sony and founded his own company GameRez 3D. In September 2007, he became the president of the Willow Glen Little League. In November 2006, he got back into the video game industry again and worked for Sony a second time as a senior manager and program management.
In 2018, Wallace left Sony and currently works at Google, working as the Certification Lead on their Stadia platform.

Wallace used the SLICK/Audio sound driver by David O'Riva of Bitmasters and repurposed it for Absolute's needs.
