NES, Sega Master System
Mizutani created two sound drivers at Natsume:
- The first one is used in Dungeon Magic and Heroes of the Lance.
- A whole new one is used in all other games.
The music was arranged in binary/hexadecimal.

Mizutani created MIDI files and loaded them into a debugger. There, he converted them to text and modified the music. Then he initialized it. Mizutani used instrument samples from many Roland devices such as the S-330, D-550, SC-55 Mk II, and the Yamaha TX-802.
Game Boy Advance
Mizutani used Natsume's own sound driver.
