Human Co., Ltd. (ヒューマン株式会社 Hyuuman Kabushikigaisha) was a Japanese game developer. They are known for several of their games and series including Monster Party (NES), Clock Tower, Fire Pro Wrestling, and the Formation Soccer series.

The company was originally known as TRY Corporation and Communicate, Inc. until the two companies merged into Sonata. The company later started a division called Human Creative School, where their students would start out developing video games. One example of their efforts was for the Famicom game Egypt. In addition, the company also had an in-house sound team known as HELP.

The company developed a great deal of NES games, most of which were published by Bandai and Shinsei.

Games

Audio Development

Genesis

The company used a custom sound driver by Masashi Itoi, likely of Athena.

NES

According to Takahiro Wakuta, the music was entered in Music Macro Language on a computer using a sound driver by Tohru Hayashi. This sound driver had different variants and was loaned out to other companies.

Michael Andretti's World Grand Prix uses a custom sound driver not seen in any other game, with the exception of its Japanese sequel Nakajima Satoru no F-1 Hero 2.

SNES

Human reprogrammed Nintendo's Kankichi-kun.

For Ultraman, the company used a build of the sound driver. The rest of their games use their own variant of Kankichi-kun.
