Hisayoshi Ogura (known by his alias OGR) was a part of the main sound staff at Taito. He composed the music and sound to many of their video games. He also founded Zuntata, a group of composers mostly from Taito and some from Capcom.
Audio Development
NES/FDS
Legend of Kage is the only NES game that Ogura worked on personally. He used TOSE's sound driver using a Family BASIC.
For KiKi KaiKai: Dotou Hen for the Disk System, Ogura is credited for the music, but said he was not involved with the game. Instead, his music from the arcade version was ported to the Disk System. His music was most likely arranged by Tadashi Sou, who is not only credited as a programmer, but received audio credits in other games.
For Arkanoid, his music was ported to the NES from the arcade version by Tsukasa Masuko.
For Bubble Bobble, Ogura used Taito's sound driver.
