Hiroyuki Iwatsuki is a Japanese composer and sound designer known for his numerous soundtracks at Natsume. In May 1990 he joined Natsume and has stayed with them ever since, even when they changed to Natsume Atari.
Music Composition
NES/SMS
Hiroyuki utilized a sound driver by Iku Mizutani, in which the music was written in binary code and later assembled to the console.
SNES
Hiroyuki used a tracker-like tool from Nintendo.
Gameography
Aliases
In the Game Boy version of Ninja Gaiden, he is credited as Don, an alias used mostly by Akihiko Mori. However, Iwatsuki verified that the alias belongs to him in that game.
