Hiroshi Yamazoe is a Japanese composer and sound designer who worked at SNK Playmore. He joined the company in 1996 and left in 2001, with his first work being on Shinsetsu Samurai Spirits: Bushidou Retsuden. He was a part of the SNK New World Sound Players. He also worked on The King of Fighters series, starting with '97, and his music in the '99 installment has been praised. After the SNK New World Sound Players disbanded due to the company's closing, Hiroshi continued to work at SNK when it became SNK Playmore, while also composing for the company's pachi-slot titles. In 2001, he left SNK and took a long hiatus from the game industry. He returned in 2019 when he worked on the new Samurai Showdown game, where he was the sound director.
