Hiroki Kikuta is a Japanese composer and sound designer.

He studied religion at Kansai University from 1981 to 1985. He joined Square Enix around 1991 and worked on their Super Nintendo games to start, primarily the Secret of Mana series. He originally joined the company as a manager, but was asked to help contribute sound effects, and later music. When his music for Secret of Mana soundtrack became popular, he decided to remain a composer. Wanting to do more than what Square could offer, he departed the company and founded Sacnoth. However, when their game Koudelka failed, he resigned as the CEO. During his career as a video game composer, he also worked on adult video games.

Today, Kikuta is the Representative Director at Norstrilia, a position he's held since 2001. The company acts as a record label for his albums.
