Hiroaki Takahashi is a Japanese composer and sound designer who works with Koei Tecmo Games. He is a graduate from Hosei University.
He started in the game industry in 1995 when he joined Tecmo. There, he not only composed music, but also did sound effects and even sound direction, as well as music arrangement. His work on Touki Denshou: Angel Eyes was highly acclaimed. In addition, Takahashi has worked on several popular series such as Gallop Racer and Dead or Alive. He is also known for his Playstation works on Rygar: The Legendary Adventure and Unison: Rebels of Rhythm & Dance.
In 2010, Hiroaki stayed with the company when it merged with Koei, becoming Koei Tecmo Games. Takahashi then started working on various games in the Dynasty Warriors series among others. In particular, regarding his works with Koei, he is known for the One Piece: Pirate Warriors series in which he worked on all games.
Takahashi continues to work at Koei Tecmo Games to this day.
