High Scores
From Video Game Music Preservation Foundation Wiki
(Redirected from High Score)
The High Scores in a video game represent the highest amount of points a player has had, and usually set a record for the player to break. This was much more common in the earlier days of video games. As time went on, and games could actually be completed, the point system became more and more redundant.
