Guilds plays in the PC-9801 version of Hillsfar when the player is visiting the Fighters', Mages', and Thieves' Guilds, as well as the Cleric's equivalent; the Temple of Tempus.
The song was written by Yasuhiro Kawasaki on the YM2203 OPN chip provided by the PC-9801, most likely in Music Macro Language. Yasuhiro should be contacted for an official title.
Composition
Guilds is in the 4/4 time signature, plays at approximately 162 beats per minute, and is in the key of C major.
The song starts out with the PSG portion of the YM2203 playing C, G (on C), Csus4, and C chords in dotted-quarter notes. This phrase repeats three more times (four times total) before the lead instrument solos. The solo repeats a second time before looping from the beginning.

The NES version of Hillsfar uses the song for the same purpose as the PC-9801 version, but in addition, also plays at the trading post. The song plays somewhat slower than the PC-9801 original.
The song was arranged to the NES by Yoshio Kobayashi, who sequenced the music on a PC-8001 mkII computer. It was programmed into sound code by the game's programmer, Kazuhisa Mitani.
The Trading Post also plays this theme. In the PC-9801 version, Horseback continues playing instead.
