The infamous Goblin Room is a room in most versions of Shadowgate, but it was left out of the NES version. In every version that has the goblin room, entering it means automatic death without the ability to perform any actions. It's fitting that it was removed from the NES version, as the room only serves as yet another way to kill the player.

This track is in the ROM's data, but it is never actually played during the game. It is not known if this track was actually composed for the Goblin Room, but since that is the only section of the game known to have been removed, it is assumed that this song was meant to be played in the Goblin Room. The song's composer should be contacted to be sure. The first two notes of the song sounds similar to Mirror Room, but it quickly falls apart into an unfinished mess. It is interesting to note that the song is in the obscure 14/8 time signature.

This song is track 13 in the NSF file. The title is unofficial.
