Georgy Sviridov was a famous Soviet and Russian composer, known by his neo-romantic orchestral music.

Because Sviridov wasn't a video game composer, his gameography is listed in alphabetical order.
The Metal Gear Solid original theme is widely considered as Tappi Iwase plagiatarism of Sviridov's Winter Road. After the creator of the series, Hideo Kojima, was offered to listen to this track, the studio decided to drop the usage of it completely.
