Geoff Kirk is an American composer, sound designer, and sound designer who is known for his work at Humongous Entertainment. He has been interested in music ever since he was young. In 1980, he attended the Evergreen State College for music technology and history and graduated in 1984 with a BA. From 1989 to 1991 he worked at Sub Pop Records. His video game music career began in 1995 when he worked for Humongous Entertainment. While he composed the music to some of their games, most of the titles he worked on ended up having him program the sound effects. He stayed with Humongous when they were acquired by Atari Games and left in June 2005. Geoff currently runs his own website in which he designs sound for media.
