Game On plays when you press SPACE on the second title screen. It repeats until you press the joystick button.
Title
Hutzelmann's own release spells "GAME ON".
Composition
Hutzelmann arranged the jingle in his then-favorite editor, Soundmaster v3.1. It repeats because Soundmaster does not support stopping.
The bass sounds different on every 6581 chip because it uses SID's unstable low-pass filter. HVSC states that Hutzelmann's music is meant for the more stable 8580 revision. For recording, SPACE was pressed:
- on a real C64C PAL with an 8580 R5 4091.
- in VICE 3.9 with C64 PAL and a bias of 80.
In the rip, the jingle is track 2.
