Forgotten Realms began as a setting for the childhood stories of Ed Greenwood in around 1967. In 1987, it was incorporated into the Dungeons & Dragons RPG. Over the years, it has become the most popular of the D&D campaigns with a wealth of stories, games, and other merchandise. Additional franchises that take place in the Forgotten Realms world include Pool of Radiance, Eye of the Beholder, Neverwinter Nights, and Baldur’s Gate.

Games

Pool of Radiance

A group of adventurers must stop the evil spirit Tyranthraxus, who has taken possession over the body of a bronze dragon, who intends to conquer all of Phlan and all of Moonsea.

Curse of the Azure Bonds

The group of adventurers from the previous game wake up to find azure-colored sigils on their arms, which gives them uncontrollable urges to do evil. The party must find and eliminate the source of the sigils so that they may be free again.

Hillsfar

In Hillsfar, the player creates a single character. With this character, they must travel to the city of Hillsfar to meet with the guildmaster of their respective class. The guildmaster gives the player various quests to do. The game allowed players to transfer their characters to and from other games, which allowed players to take their characters and level them up. It also allowed for a little easier experience if players played as their transferred characters.

Dungeon Hack

An evil sorceress sends a warrior (controlled by the player) to retrieve an orb in an ancient dungeon. The dungeon is filled with several levels of deadly monsters, but the adventurer may keep any treasure they find along the way. The game can be customized by the player and each dungeon is randomly generated, giving the player a different experience each time they play.
