Ending (Game Over) is the song that plays when you lose all your lives and also when you enter your initials into the high score screen in Shinobi. The title remained unnamed until 2009 when the song appeared on the official soundtrack album, Legend of Joe Musashi: Shinobi - Music Collection.

Although the title suggests that the song should be played during the game's ending sequence or at the game over screen, it's actually played when you lose all your lives and are asked to continue, or when you enter your initials in the high score list.

The System 16 hardware renders the song on a Yamaha YM2151 chip. The native format has yet to be determined, but the song has been logged to VGM.
