Elfland (DOS)
From Video Game Music Preservation Foundation Wiki
The game's music files reside in the MUSIC1.DAT file, where the three tracks (lightmus.mid, darkmus.mid and victory.mid) are merged sequentially, with a 2-byte magic marker (0x3808); The game then plays these tracks with an old version (v1.22) of SoundBlaster instruments. Looks like the music tempo is set in the game's code, which is why the tracks seem actually slower than the ones experienced in-game.
