Dungeon Explorer is an action-based dungeon crawler set in a fantasy world. In the game's story the land of Oddesia has become overrun by aliens and both the king and the aliens are searching for a powerful relic called the ORA Stone which grants the bearer limitless power. The heroes are charged by the king to find the ORA Stone and return it to him so that he can defeat the aliens for good.
The game's style and mechanics are heavily based on Gauntlet. Each player (up to five simultaneously) selects a hero from one of several different classes. They shoot a missile based on their class and collect potions and power-ups. The aliens spawn from generators that must be destroyed. And when the heroes reach the portal to the next area, they even spin in place! However, the addition of a progressing story line, boss battles, and a way to beat the game are nice additions not present in the original Gauntlet.
Emulated versions of Dungeon Explorer have been released for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, and Wii U.

Music
Tsukasa Masuko composed a pretty expansive soundtrack for Dungeon Explorer giving each main area its own theme and a unique song for every major dungeon. The tracks are quite fitting for their nature. Field music is adventurous, boss music is sinister, and the dungeon themes range from ominous to curious to empowering. Most of the songs have a very melodic instrument set.Recording

Since Tsukasa Masuko was also a sound programmer, he may have also designed the game's sound engine, and most likely arranged his own music, though further research should be conducted before this is made official.
The recording was made using Game Emu Player v1.195 in foobar2000.
