Heroes of the Lance
The heroes are sent to the abandoned ruins of Xak Tsaroth to retrieve the Disks of Mishakal. Along the way, they encounter several foes including Baaz Draconians, Aghars, undead, dragon hatchlings, as well as other monsters. At the end of the journey, the adventurers must face the dragon Khisanth, who was sent by the Dark Queen Takhisis to guard the disks.
The game is not an RPG, and instead plays as a standard action-platformer with a few RPG elements. The player takes control of all eight of the Companions of the Lance; Goldmoon, Sturm Brightblade, Caramon Majere, Raistlin Majere, Tanis Half-Elven, Tasslehoff Burrfoot, Riverwind, and Flint Fireforge.
The game started life on home computers such as MS-DOS, Commodore 64, Amiga, and Atari ST, with a few home console versions following. Each version of the game was poorly received by critics and gamers alike for the sluggish gameplay. However, the NES version probably has the most notoriety that any other port. One huge criticism of the game was the use of spells, in which the player had to constantly keep navigating the menus just to use a single spell.

Dragons of Flame
The game continues after the events of Heroes of the Lance. The game plays in an identical fashion to Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (NES)' The player guides the heroes through an overworld in which monster icons spawn. If any of the icons touch the player, they are taken to a sidescrolling action scene where they must defeat the enemies to escape. There is also a dungeon at the end, not unlike the temples in Zelda II. The game was also poorly received by critics.

DragonStrike
DragonStrike is a first-person fully-3D shooting game by Westwood Associates. The player controls a dragon while performing tasks around all of Krynn.
The game was originally released in North America and Europe for the Amiga, Commodore 64, and MS-DOS, but later saw release in Japan with the PC-9801 and Sharp X68000 versions (courtesy of Crosstalk). Westwood Associates developed each version of the game (save for the PC-9801 and Sharp X68000 versions, which were developed by CrossTalk). The NES version, despite being by Westwood, was turned into a top-down free-roaming shoot-em-up, which was well received.
