Digger T. Rock: Legend of the Lost City is a platform video game developed by Rare and published by the Milton Bradley Company for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It was first released in North America in December 1990 and in Europe in 1991. The game centres around the miner Digger T. Rock, as he spelunks various caves and catacombs whilst searching for the mythical Lost City.
The game was the first game to be developed by the newly re-branded Rare, whereas the first game to be released under the company was Solar Jetman, earlier in 1990. The game received mixed reviews upon release, with praise directed at its playability but was criticised for its poor graphics and presentation. It was later included in Rare's 2015 Xbox One retrospective compilation, Rare Replay.

Music
For 1990, David Wise of Battletoads and Donkey Kong Country fame did a good job, creating this adventurous soundtrack to go along with the game.
The song titles and track orderings come from the NSFE file.
To write music on the NES, David had to write the music in 6502 assembly language.

Like most of Rare's NES games, this one does not contain credits. According to various staff at Rare, this was to prevent their employees from job offers from other companies. We have contacted David Wise who has verified composing the game's soundtrack. Mark Betteridge may have also been responsible for the game's sound effects.
Game Rip
Ripping NSF music is an arduous process that is beyond the scope of this site.
Audio Devices
The game uses the NES's RP2A03. It uses the later revision of Rare's sound driver, originally created by Rare founder Chris Stamper and modified by Mark Betteridge.
