Dean Belfield is an English programmer.
In September 1988, Belfield joined Software Creations and became lifelong friends with the three Follins. In 1993, all four joined Malibu Interactive. Belfield's first task was to write a music driver. His own musical background included playing the violin in the school orchestra, later the guitar, piano, and arranging MIDI music for fun and church.
Feeling screwed by every video game boss, he moved to embedded systems in 1997, but kept an interest in retro computing. Eventually, Tim Follin gave him his backup disks, and Belfield, with the permission of Tim, Geoff Follin and Stephen Ruddy, released their original source codes.

Belfield designed and programmed a music driver. Tim Follin helped him and scored Time Trax (GEN). Sadly, the game was never released and Belfield no longer has the driver.
