The Creative Music System was an early sound card made by Creative. This pages is for the bundled software that came with the product. More information on the sound card itself can be found at Creative Music System.
The Creative Music System came bundled with several pieces of software including the following:
- Creative C/MS Music Player - This program plays CMS format audio files.
- Creative Music System Sing-along Program - This program plays CMS files that have been outfitted as karaoke songs.
- Creative Music System's Intelligent Organ - This functions as a musical keyboard with numerous instruments, recording, and playback.
- Animated Play - Plays animations along with CMS files that have been updated to work with the program.
There are a few other command line programs that allow you to convert Organ songs to CMS files, take screen captures for use with Animated Play, pack and unpack songs together, etc.

Music
The Creative Music System's bundled music does a good job of showcasing the abilities of the sound card. The songs consist mostly of traditional songs and covered pop songs. I imagine that they skirted copyright issues because the fidelity of the songs is so low. There are also a handful of custom-made songs. Most of the arrangements are attributed to "WH Sim," which refers to Sim Wong Hoo, the CEO of Creative. A couple of the unknown songs are probably covers as well.

Game Rip
This CMS files are found on the various disks, some of which are repeated. The songs were recorded using the Creative C/MS Music Player in DOSBox.
