Chinatsu Kuzū is a Japanese musician. She started composing music while attending the Keio University Faculty of Letters. She has written music for television, video games, and other media. In 1991, she released her first album "The City in the Sea", and released another album a year later, "The Lady of Shallotte". She is probably best known for writing the music for the Koei series Angelique a Japanese video game series noted for its use of female-only developers.

Music Development

SFC

Chinatsu said this about composing the music to Angelique (SFC):

I think it was the most difficult game music I've been involved in. I struggled until the end, especially with the female characters and the themes related to love. I was worried about what a girl and a queen are all about, staring at the storyboard.
