Chad York is a Canadian composer and audio director. From 1991 to 1994, he attended the MacEwan University for Jazz Performance and Recording Sciences. In 1990, he started his career as a freelance composer. From March 2003 to 2006, he worked as an instructor for Vancouver Film School. In March 2006, he started working at Next Level Games. There, he worked on many of the spin-off Super Mario Bros. series such as Luigi's Mansion and Mario Strikers. He continues to work for Next Level Games to this day.
