CDFM is the native format used by CDFM Tracker, written by the demoscene group Renaissance. Both the tracker and the format are poorly documented and difficult to obtain. Unlike most MOD-like formats, CDFM has native support for FM synthesis instruments in addition to digital audio.

How to Obtain
CDFM files usually have to be manually extracted from game files, a process that is different for pretty much every game that uses them. The following programs can extract CDFM files from games:
- Camoto - Linux, Windows - Zone 66 (DOS)
- Ripper6 - Linux, Windows - Can find in various game files.
