Audio Development
Game.com
Byte Size's MIDI files were converted to sound driver by a programmer from Tiger Electronics.
Game Boy / Game Boy Color
Byte Size's MIDI files were converted to the GB/GBC using Stuart E. Ross' sound driver from Absolute Entertainment. Also, their games reuses Mark Van Hecke's sounds from The Ren & Stimpy Show: Space Cadet Adventures, Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost In New York.
On NBA Life 2000 and Triple Play 2001, composers used Tiertex's sound driver by Donald Campbell. Programmers of Handheld Games possibly did reverse engineering of NBA Live 96, due the NBA Live 2000 uses assets from same game.
On rest of their works, they used MusyX, a sound tool by Factor 5.
Game Boy Advance
For games developed by Handheld Games and Cinegroupe, they used MusyX, a sound tool by Factor 5.
SNES
For Urban Strike and Bubsy in the Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind, they wrote the music in assembly, listening to sheet music by ear, using Chip Level Designs' version of Nintendo's Kankichi-kun sound driver.
For Total Carnage, they used BMus by Sculptured Software.
For College Football USA '97: The Road to New Orleans and Mohawk and Headphone Jack, they used SLICK/Audio by Bitmasters.
For the rest of his work, including Lester the Unlikely, NHL '97, NHL '98 and Phantom 2040, they used Visual Concepts' sound driver.
Genesis
Composers used the famous GEMS.
Game Gear
Matt Scott typed music to upgraded sound driver by Paul Hutchinson via assembly.
Beavis and Butt-Head seems to use unique sound driver.
Pinball
At Alvin G. & Co, Kyle Johnson converted his MIDI files to Brian Schmidt's BSMT2000 sound chip.
