Boss is a fast nerve-wracking tune that plays during a boss battle in most stages in Burai Fighter. However, it does not play on stage 3 or stage 6, which continues the stage theme during the boss battle.

The song was composed by Norio Nakagata using a NEC PC-9801 in Music Macro Language. It was then compiled into a sound driver by Tadashi Fukuzawa.
