Adam Gilmore is an English composer and sound designer. He became interested in computer programming with his love for music while in school. In 1985, he started doing games for Zeppelin Games as a freelance sound designer. Here, he worked on multiple platforms including the Commodore 64, Amiga, Atari 800, and ST.

In 1994, Adam stopped doing video game music but continued to work in the industry, working for DK Publishing as a Lead Developer, where he would make several games and software for the company. He gradually left the game industry but continued to work as a programmer and software developer.

As of mid-2023, Gilmore is currently working for Career Break. He is also a councillor for Broad Hinton & Winterbourne Bassett Parish Council. He currently resides in Broad Hinton, England.
