A Curious Happening is the theme of the ill-conceived Scorpion Army. You first hear it when you find the mana seed has been stolen from the Water Palace. You hear it again in Paradise of Ice Country, and it makes its last appearance in the subway of the Sunken Fortress.
The song is a jazzy number featuring a recurring background theme with a horn melody. A constant high-hat drumming percussion plays throughout the tune, and there is a nice piano bridge.
This song is track 26 on the official soundtrack.
