How to Obtain
Most known AWS files reside in the game's directory, uncompressed and with their original extension.
Technical
Every file begins with "AUDIOS WAVE SLAVE PC", which is not checked.
Starting with The Carl Lewis Challenge (DOS), software tremolos can be added to the OPL modulator volume and the OPL feedback factor. None of the four games support any of the original TFMX effects, not even portamento and software vibrato. The macro commands are also not compatible, even where it was possible.
The driver is clocked at circa hard-coded 54 Hz. However, since it resets the timer at the end (rather than beginning) of the interrupt function, it runs circa 3% slower, depending on the CPU speed.
Source code has not been found, except that the labels have been leaked in The Carl lewis Challenge (DOS).
