Yasuaki Fujita is a Japanese composer and sound designer best known for his work with Capcom. He studied the piano when he was 6 years old. In junior high school, he was a part of a heavy metal band. After graduating high school, he started original band activities in Osaka. In 1989, he started working for Capcom, but it is unknown how he found out about the company.

During the NES era, he worked on the music for Mega Man 3 (in lieu of Harumi Fujita), Tenchi wo Kurau II, The Little Mermaid, and Darkwing Duck for Capcom. A few years later he joined the band Alph Lyla that also composed game music for the company, particularly for Breath of Fire and Final Fight 2, both on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Alph Lyla disbanded in the late 1990s. He also worked for Ukiyotei and Tom Create.

Despite working on numerous titles with her, Yasuaki is not related to Harumi Fujita.

One of Yasuaki's most memorable contributions is the 16-bit era Capcom logo jingle.
