Yasuaki Fujita is a Japanese composer and sound designer best known for his work with Capcom. He studied the piano when he was 6 years old. In junior high school, he was a part of a heavy metal band. After graduating high school, he started original band activities in Osaka. In 1989, he began working for Capcom.

During the NES era, he worked on the music for Mega Man 3 (in lieu of Harumi Fujita), Tenchi wo Kurau II, The Little Mermaid, and a number of other releases. He was also a part of the Capcom sound team's band 'Alph Lyla' as a keyboardist until they disbanded in the late 1990's. Post-Capcom, Fujita formed the company 'First Circle' as a group for freelance music and sound production, often providing sound design alongside Harumi Fujita's music.

One of his most memorable contributions is the Capcom logo jingle, used across many Capcom games in the NES and SNES eras.
