Game pages designed for "All Platforms"
Hello, BuddyBoy600alt!
May I ask what platform the audio recording of The Miracle Piano Teaching System (All Platforms) is made from? In the same vein, what platforms are targeted by the following games:
- Kid Works 2 (MAC)
- Living Books - Little Critter's Just Grandma and Me by Mercer Mayer (MAC/WIN)
- The Three Stooges (DOS) ?
I'm asking because some of the pages you've created used the weird and incorrect code like "All Platforms". Normally, we create separate pages for each platform - having different output sound for music - and/or simply make redirections to a single page (if there's a lack of difference of audio).
In addition, please check List of Platform Abbreviations (A-N and O-Z) where all possible codes on this site may be used as a portion of the game title --Cancer (talk) 12:20, 17 September 2020 (EDT)

- Well, The game never used any sounds from the hardware. The audio comes from the speaker on the piano. Even if you played it on any system, The piano speaker will still be the same. - Ah! Got it now. In a future, we might have an option and icon for the output the piano has. Still, the page needs to be moved to the platform for which it was released first (I guess NES will be appropriate), and after that have a redirection from SNES to NES. Improper formatting
Unfortunately, some of your page still does not meet the standard VGMPF formatting style.
- The Three Stooges Digitally Remastered Edition (W32/OSX) - although there isn't probably a rule prohibiting to create a page containing only some description of the game (not even the stub version of all the needed paragraphs with all the needed templates like "Imcomplete", "Incomplete rip" and so on, like here: Cannon Fodder (DOS)), but creating them without these paragraphs makes the finding of them by any user interested in their completing is much harder. Secondly, there isn't such a platform index as "OSX", all OS X games fall under "MAC", but only if the MAC version differ. Did W32 version came before or after MAC? If W32, leave only W32 index. If MAC, leave only MAC. If both simultaneously AND they have the VERY same soundtrack, just remove the platform index.
- The Three Stooges (DOS) - the "music and voices" paragraph is out of the VGMPF standard. Usually the content you've written for it falls onto the individual songs' descriptions. Or, after all, that paragraph should be named "Music". "Defender of the Crown title (The Three Stooges DOS) (Roland MT-32).ogg" starts from an unneeded silence and ends with it, while we use to cut it from recordings if only it's not a part of a looping track itself, or a part of a song itself. The naming is also out of VGMPF standards: it should have been something like "01 - The Three Stooges - DOS - Defender of the Crown title.ogg", or "101 - The Three Stooges - DOS - Defender of the Crown title.ogg", where the first "1" already implies that's a Roland MT-32 recording (the very first device mentioned on the game's page).
You might want to look onto some other video game pages (especially the newest ones) to have an example of how the exact formatting does look like. --M1911 (talk) 18:03, 21 September 2020 (EDT)
File naming
Please name your uploaded .Ogg files accordingly. As a standard, the recording for The Three Stooges (DOS) should be titled "101 - Three Stooges - DOS - Defender of the Crown Title.ogg". Locomotion on A2GS?
Hi, I'd really like to see that Apple IIGS version of Locomotion that you mentioned in the series template. Unfortunately, MobyGames, Wikipedia and Google search terms like locomotion site:whatisthe2gs.apple2.org.za are not helping me at all.
