Unknown is a song that is included in the Tetris ROM, but never actually heard during ordinary game play. The song sounds like it was intended to be used for title music, a hypothesis which is helped by the fact that the game is strangely missing title music. In addition, the song doesn't loop, which also supports its intended use as the title theme.
The song's composer, Hirokazu Tanaka, or the game's programmers should be contacted and asked about the origin of this song.
