Total Eclipse is the athmosperic tune from some of the Total Eclipse game and its sequel.
Games
Total Eclipse (C64)
The original version of this tune rendered on 6581 chip. It's one of the longest video game tracks for Commodore 64 platform, and it's nice atmospheric tune. It plays during all the game, but since the game use all 3 PSG channels of SID for music, the game doesn't have any sounds (contrary to the Amiga or Atari ST version, you can't choose between music only and SFX only).
This tune is the track 1 in the SID rip.
Total Eclipse (AMI)
Total Eclipse (AST)
The Atari ST version sounds like Commodore 64, but has more tinny sound, and its backing voices are louder. It can play music during the real-time rendering of true 3D, but since the game use all 3 channels of YM2149F for music, it can't play digital sound effects and music at once, so player has to choose between them.
This tune is the track 1 in the SNDH rip.
Total Eclipse 2: The Sphinx Jinxs (C64)
The same music with Total Eclipse (C64).
Total Eclipse (CP4)
Total Eclipse 2: The Sphinx Jinxs (CP4)
Other ports
MS-DOS, Atari 8-bit, ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC ports of those two games don't feature any music.
