In Torus Trooper you control a ship that races down the inside of a tube-like track covered with enemy ships. You must speed along, blasting your way past your violent foes and dodging their gun fire and race against the clock. If you run out of time your ship will be destroyed, but as you destroy enemy ships and bosses your time increases keeping you alive longer. The idea of being able to spin around on the torus track gives a nice gravity defying feel. Also the as the track spins along it forcing you to spiral down its path making for some really exciting driving.

Torus Trooper's music is very fitting to the game. It has a very fluid trance sound for most of it, but also a little bit of industrial in some of the tracks. It really complements the game very well.
