The Top Gun Anthem is the main theme for the movie Top Gun. The song was written and performed by Harold Faltermeyer on the keyboard and featured Steve Stevens on electric guitar. It was released on the Top Gun: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack album.
A similar tune was made for the title music of F/A-18 Interceptor (AMI), no doubt trying to capture some of Top Gun's popularity.
