The March to War is played in Wolfenstein 3D (DOS) for the boss stages of four episodes: E1M9, E2M9, E4M9, and E5M9. The melodies of several traditional Americana songs make up The March to War including, Yankee Doodle, Dixie (I Wish I Was In Dixie), The Star-Spangled Banner, My Country, 'Tis of Thee, and Taps. This gives the tune an very patriotic sound to Americans.

The March to War is track 3 in the game's data files, and the IMF meta tag title is "WARMARCH". The title comes from Bobby Prince's archive.

Bobby Prince composed the song using Sequencer Plus Gold.

Note: AdPlug doesn't properly emulate the drums in this IMF file, so they are slightly off from how they are played in the game.
