|
The Legend of Kyrandia: Book Two - The Hand of Fate is an adventure game in Westwood's Fables & Fiends series which started and ended with this game trilogy.
The game features a point-and-click interface and an inventory system. It also differs from games like The Secret of Monkey Island and the King's Quest series in that there is no verb menu, allowing for a simpler user interface.

The Legend of Kyrandia 2 has four versions of audio, mostly in XMI format, but with different file extensions. The actual assignments are unknown but probably the following. Those files with a .C55 extension are used for Roland SC-55 and General MIDI devices. Those files with an .XMI extension are used for Roland MT-32 and LAPC-I. Those files with an .ADL extension are used for the AdLib, AdLib Gold 1000, Pro AudioSpectrum, and Sound Blaster devices and are in ADL format. Those files with a .PCS extension are used with the PC Speaker and Tandy 3 Voice. Sound effects are stored in VOC format. The original music, sound, and driver files are included in the rip. They were extracted from the game's various PAK files.
