Template:Infobox Song

From Video Game Music Preservation Foundation Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

The Infobox Song template has several parameters, many of which are optional. If the song has been released on multiple games, the Song page should have a Games section which will house the information that applies to each individual version of the song.

Parameter Required Description
Title Yes The name of the song.
Recording No Adds a player for the song which includes an icon for the output type. Use the Recording template. Include a player for each output type the game supports. For multiple games, use Template:Infobox SubSong.
Image No The file name of the picture which best represents where this song is played. Example: "example.png" If you need to show multiple images, put the most representative image here, and add additional images in the description section with the Template:SongScreenshot template

If more than one game uses the song, and the SubSong template is used, REMOVE the Image parameter altogether, otherwise the page will be put into the Missing Screenshot category. Instead, use the Image parameter in Template:Infobox SubSong.

Arranger No The person who arranged the song for the videogame. Use the Arranger template. Separate multiple arrangers with commas. For multiple games, use Template:Infobox SubSong.
