Toru Minegishi is a Japanese composer, sound designer, and sound programmer. He joined Nintendo in 1998 where he still works to this day. He attended the Sophia University for Psychology in 1998. Minegishi has composed many popular games' soundtracks including Pokemon Stadium, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, and Super Mario Sunshine. He also composed the indoor music for Animal Crossing, including over 50 aircheck tunes for K.K. Slider.[1] Unlike many other composers who worked for Nintendo for a long time, Minegishi appears to continue to receive credits in music composition, rather than serving as an audio director.
