Synthia Petroka is an American composer and sound designer who worked at Atari. Starting in 1975, she attended three colleges and graduated with degrees in computer music. In 1983, she joined Atari Games as a programmer and left in 1985. In April 1993, she started working on sailmaking. In January 2007, she founded the company Beats Mowing the Lawn which she still operates today.
