Star Wars (Main Theme) | ||||||
|
One of the most iconic songs in all of science fiction is the Star Wars (Main Theme) composed by John Williams for the movie Star Wars IV: A New Hope, and used throughout all of the subsequent movies. The song is also featured in nearly every Star Wars game ever made.
The song itself has a high content of brass instruments and is often used as a theme for Luke, thus making it a heroic anthem. The recording used in the movie was performed by the London Symphony Orchestra.

Star Wars (Main Theme) is one of the example songs included in the bundled software with the Sound Blaster. It is called STARFM.CMF, however the file's meta data identifies it as PDemo Theme II, possibly short for "Public Demo, Theme II," to showcase the qualities of the Sound Blaster. This song is also the only song in the bundled tunes that includes meta data to identify the arrangers.
