Year: 1994
Developer: Someri Team

Somari the Adventurer is an infamous bootleg port of Sonic the Hedgehog from the Sega Genesis to the less powerful Nintendo Entertainment System. With level design almost completely different from its Genesis counterpart and swarms of enemies, it's better off if you run at a snail's pace when travelling as a rather lanky Mario.

Music

All the zones from Sonic the Hedgehog are here, save for Scrap Brain Zone. Each track is fairly accurate to the Genesis originals, though many have criticized the awkward, often off-key sound design.
