Shiru is the alias of a Russian programmer Alexander Sergeyevich Semyonov (cyr. Александр Сергеевич Семёнов) who makes homebrew video games on old consoles. He made the Famitone and it's successor the Famitone2 sound driver which has been used in homebrews to this day.
