Shinji Amagishi is a Japanese composer and sound designer. He started composing video game music in 1991 along with Mitsuhiko Takano when they both joined TOSE. His first game was the NES Toxic Crusaders. He and Mitsuhiko would go on to compose numerous soundtracks together. Later, he and Takano joined Capcom and he wrote sound effects for some of their titles, notably the Mega Man games. The two composers are good friends and are still in touch to this day.
