Scott Etherton was an American game developer. He programmed the MechWarrior games as well as Die Hard 1 & 2. One of the first projects he worked of , for Silent Sortware, was Disney Animation Studio. He also got to score the music and sound for a couple games. Unfortunately, Scott passed away in his Playa Del Rey, California home on April 20, 2001 from cardiac myopathy.
