RoboCop for Commodore 64 had great critical acclaim during its time. It's a platform run-and-gun, though the controls are quite difficult, and you are unable to jump. The game has little to do with the movie, but the general theme is there.

Music
RoboCop has a very good title theme for 1988. It picks up and really becomes worth listening to, but ends a little slow. The other two tracks are acceptable as well.
