Painting by Numbers was a British game developer which developed games solely for Ocean Software. The company was founded by brothers Chris and Steve Kerry. The company housed the two brothers as well as programmer Mark Rogers and graphic artist Jon Beard. All of them had previously worked for Gremlin Graphics.

The music and sound was outsourced to Ocean Software, where their music was programmed in 6502 using Jonathan Dunn's sound driver.

SNES

The music and sound was outsourced to Ocean Software. The composers used MEdit.
