Overworld
Composer Koji Kondo
Released 1986/02/21

Koji Kondo's first epic game was The Legend of Zelda (NES) which featured an impressive soundtrack for 1986. The Overworld music is indeed iconic and variations of it have been used throughout the entire Legend of Zelda series. The song has since been rearranged numerous times for the various sequels in the series. The title comes from The Legend of Zelda Sound & Drama album.

The Above Ground BGM tune from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (NES) features elements of this song.
